Buckingham Garden Centre

We are a family run garden centre that is well known nationally as a specialist for bare rooted hedging plants and young trees. The Garden Centre always has a good selection of shrubs and plants which are not commonly found elsewhere, together with a wide range of the more commonly sought after plants. Established for over 50 years, the Garden Centre has recently been redeveloped to a high standard. Our shop contains the largest selection of seeds and bulbs for miles around, together with garden chemicals, tools, garden furniture and many other goods. Outside we stock peat-based and peat-free composts, paving, fencing, timber decking, garden buildings and greenhouses, and a large range of pots, statues and garden ornaments. Our aquatics centre has a good reputation for their excellent quality tropical, marine and cold water fish. The Gardeners' Retreat, our coffee shop/restaurant, serves fresh home cooked food and is an excellent way to round off any visit to the Garden Centre.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS GARDEN CENTRE EVENT GRAFT AND GROW DAY Saturday 1st February 2025, 10am-4pm

Featuring apple scion exchange with members of The Mid-Shires Orchard Group, plus fruit expert Gerry Edwards, Grafting demos throughout the day with Andy Howard and Steve Oram. Rootstocks and fruit trees available for sale. An opportunity to bring your own scion wood in to get a new tree from a favourite variety grafted* on the day! We will be joined by Buckinghamshire Mind, the Garden Centre's Charity of the Year 2025, the local branch of the National Vegetable Society and a representative form the local Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT).

* Please note there is a charge for the grafting service payable directly to the grafters.

GARDEN CENTRE EVENT ORCHID AND TERRARIUM DAY Saturday 15th March 2025

We will be joined by Manos Kanellos for a talk and Q&A session at 11am on orchid growing. In the afternoon at 2pm Manos will be holding a Terrarium Workshop. A chance to build your own bespoke terrarium to take home with you. All materials are provided. Cost and how to book your place to be confirmed.
