Buckingham Garden Centre

We are a family run garden centre that is well known nationally as a specialist for bare rooted hedging plants and young trees. The Garden Centre always has a good selection of shrubs and plants which are not commonly found elsewhere, together with a wide range of the more commonly sought after plants. Established for over 50 years, the Garden Centre has recently been redeveloped to a high standard. Our shop contains the largest selection of seeds and bulbs for miles around, together with garden chemicals, tools, garden furniture and many other goods. Outside we stock peat-based and peat-free composts, paving, fencing, timber decking, garden buildings and greenhouses, and a large range of pots, statues and garden ornaments. Our aquatics centre has a good reputation for their excellent quality tropical, marine and cold water fish. The Gardeners' Retreat, our coffee shop/restaurant, serves fresh home cooked food and is an excellent way to round off any visit to the Garden Centre.



Controlling pests and diseases in your Garden is vital for you to be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour at their best. With increased research and understanding into the less attractive side of pest control products, as a retailer who cares for the community and its surroundings, we only sell certified products to treat problems. We stock a wide range of products from manufacturers such as Vitax, Bayer, Scotts, Big Cheese, Fito, Doff and Grazers to name a few. Our range includes many products for those customers who would prefer their pest control to be organic. We also test our products to ensure we have the best information possible to share with our valued customers. For example, Pauline Brown, one of the Partners, has been very pleased with Grazers to help protect her crops of brassicas from rabbit damage. We have also found that Slug Stoppa copper tape can be as effective at keeping slugs and snails at bay as chemical alternatives and barrier products such as Slug Stoppa Granules and Slug Gone can also be very effective.
